For My entire life I had been a Gnostic without knowing it, ‘ironic’ I know, but then knowledge without God does befall this fate.

Even to this day I make comparisons in My mind about the relative ebb and flow of My daily work habits—did I achieve today? Or questions about legacy plague Me, what will I leave behind, what did My life stand for in accomplishment.

And I am reminded about the folk song by Sean Rowe ‘To Leave Something Behind’ which is a wonderful expression of this sentiment. Legacy, work, effort, destiny.

But I am slowly turning around to a More Real and More Christian belief when it comes to this very earthly and Pagan outlook. To worry over Your legacy as though You will disappear into thin air, this is Paganistic. As being a Christian You will not merge with the soil or the breezes of the wind.

I am much more warming to what Paul resounds in his famous line in 2 Timothy: “I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.” (2 Timothy 4:7) This I would rather echo than “I have sold millions of copies of My book!”

You see One speaks of an infinite inheritance to come, the other of a hallow braggadocios…

And One of the things You must Note in Your Faith it to ‘store up treasures in Heaven’ because here on earth everything is scarce and limited.

With a Christian inheritance Time moves from being a scarce resource to being an abundant fountain of Life Eternal. And the Other Sublime gifts to be bestowed in this Life and the Life continued after death are the Three Chief: “Faith, Hope, and Love.”

NT Wright proffers that These gifts of grace and from Christ Jesus are One’s which Motion Your Whole Worldview. We Know also that Love is the Greatest of All. Because as Wright writes, Love signifies all else and is the most valuable of All for its own sake.

You see because when You love Your God as Peter Loved Jesus, the Mountains are moved. Your very vision changes, and You see all at once the Mystery and Glory of Christ and all of New Creation.

Knowing that You will live forever, that Faith, Hope, and Love will abound. That all the pain and misery of the corrupted nature will Pass leading into the Light of Life and the Fountain of Eternal Life. This cannot but help to alter the way You view Your present life and the ways in which You spend Your efforts Here and Now.

Time Is Infinite for You. It Is. And the Lord through His Gracious Gift will add to You and fill You with his Spirit as well as with the Love Which Overcomes.

And it is a Love which Overcomes all doubt, all self-hatred, sin and death. With this Your Life Will Resound. The Least among the Kingdom of Heaven is greater than any of the Celebrity or Titanic Intellects.

What will You wish to sing on Your Death Bed, and to Know that it is nowhere near the last You will breathe.

For Me I must say that My New Dream is to Have it so that My Heart Does Not Condemn Me before God. Because if this is the case I will join My first sight of His Face will gladness of Heart.
