Not a Wasted Life—Studying the Mystery of the 'Christ Metaphysic’ as Perfection

Name the Lord, Have his Name on Your lips, confess that He is Come and Risen and this is How We Know His Spirit in the World.

In Tom Cruise’s ‘The Last Samurai’ the Samurai leader Katsumoto tells Algren that “One could search an entire lifetime for the perfect rose blossom and it would not be a Wasted Life.”

For We as Christians this Rose Blossom exists in the magnificence of the Christ Metaphysic and in the Passion of the Christ. As Pastor Voddie Baucham declares “You will not fully comprehend the Mystery of Christ—but You don’t have to understand it entirely to be saved.”

So with these two formulations —Christ as the perfect Rose Blossom and Only a partial encounter with such perfection—I am Writing Here to tell You that Your life will be endlessly enriched and added-to by God if You so choose to learn of the Christ Metaphysic.

I call it the Christ Metaphysic for the fact that contemplating Christ leads one to conclusions on One’s very ‘Being’ and One’s very ‘Nature.’ When One comes to see the Christ Event from any parallax View, there is an encounter not Only with the Lord Our God, but as Carl Jung claimed in reverse “an encounter with the deepest self is an encounter with God”—in Reverse, an encounter with the Metaphysic of God is an Encounter with Your Deepest Self in its full measure and weight….

Because Once You Realize that Christ is Real, the Whole New Testament And Old Testament are Real by virtue of touching upon the Passion and in that Christ and His Apostles referenced the Old Testament Religiously in the Heat [and Heart] of their Ministry. This then entails that Humanity posses the Nature of the Scriptures—Of Adam and the Fall, of Abraham and the Righteousness, as Daniel and the Faithfulness, and as of Christ We are partakers of the Divine in Theosis.

This Spells Out the Full Richness of Our personal Metaphysic before Our Very Eyes. Our Old Man was corrupt of Sin, We Put the Old Man behind Us and have been Grafted into the New Man. We are thus of a restored integrity and regenerate Mind and Body Each Day further that We believe in Christ. Remember to Keep His Commandments.

Some Many Christians and Ones I Know Personally are taken aback by My term ‘Christ Metaphysic’ but to Me it captures the Truest Essence of Faith merged with Reason—Or Theology as a Science merged with Theology as a Personal Revelation. ‘Christ Metaphysic’ invites those who love philosophy and wisdom to come to Christ with fresh hope and casts a merger between the ‘Christ Mystery’ and ‘Being-In Christ.’ You See that ‘Christ Metaphysic’ is a heavily laden and multifaceted conception of Our Lord and I am not ashamed of Using it As Such. If Anyone Objects to its usage as a term I say: I am Not ashamed of the Gospel of Jesus Christ nor then am I ashamed of expressing the Gospel in this term in order to reach My Gnostic audience in gnosis with Faith. To the Greeks Paul was a Greek.

With this usage firmly established We can Move into the contemplation of the Christ Metaphysic into the territory of ‘Logos and Man’ in which instance the Nature and Process of Being Must be combined with the Personality Who is the Believer with Christ. How Do You Model a Person? You Must Call Them By Name. In this way We Know that YHWH is I AM. And We Know that the Lord is Christ Jesus, the Word and the Second Adam.

Remember that the Greatest Metaphysic or Theology is Empty without a Life of Prayer and a gainful prayer life. So as NT Wright says of the Apostle Paul [with My Add-libbing] : be prayerful in Your Theology and Your Theology will be in Prayer.
