The Area where Marx has us ‘Dead to Rights.’ False Consciousness & Ideological Superstructure of the Parasitic Overclass

As George Carlin said in a stroke of brilliance: “It’s a Big Club, and YOU ain’t in it”….[further] “they keep making their trips to the Bank.”

The shoe is now firmly on the other foot, or else the evolution of Time has completely vindicated what was the dead letter of Marxism. His critique of Thought/Consciousness and Ideology is now popping the Champagne bottle and drunk with correct smugness.

You see that there are two strains of Marx’s critique of Ideology that now perfectly describe the social scape of our society and culture.

Mainstream Media with the Schooling System (and I’ll throw in the Banking System and Big Corporations for good measure)  is the ‘Ideological Superstructure’ of our present times. And the social class of Journalists, Professors, and Woke Capitalists that staff it filter down into the general population writ large.

This is such that my Uncles (plural) who traditionally hated Big Money and Big Business are solely scathing at the likes of Trump without seeing to the underlying and overbearing Ideological effects of the Parasitic Overclass.
