‘The Knives at Each Others Backs:’ A Polemical Against Respected but Erring Men of Faith; And of Christian Metaphysic.

This article will be detailing my personal grievance against two Strong Protestant Thinkers because of their stance toward a third whom I have grown very fond of. As well as going a way toward explicating the Christian Metaphysics of NT Wright.

NT Wright is a Gem around which an entire garden of Exegesis and Christian Metaphysic has sprung up, but this being authentic and originary to the New Testament itself. Where Metaphysic should not be downplayed but rather vaunted as the Solace of the Christian Faith, Worldview and Life.

There happens to be a phenomenon whereby when you’ve read three books on a subject you are more learned in that area than 99% of people, and further, when you study deeply on a area or field you tend to view Journalistic workings of the same topics with disdain; they Clearly don’t know what their talking about. So for instance I know much about Jordan Peterson’s corpus of work, whenever I see a news article about him I cringe at how bad, inaccurate, misrepresenting and outrightly falsifying it is.

The same spine tingle happened when I watched John MacArthur brutalize NT Wright; then to a lesser degree when I saw William Lane Craig sneer at Wright.

Now these men are highly respectable in their own work of exegesis and naturalized apologetics respectively. I have MacArthur’s commentary on the Gospel of John which is very good, and Lane Craig’s debate against Christopher Hitchens went off beautifully. But I, knowing Wright, witnessed the sheer falsehood which these men launched against my Patron in Wright. MacArthur claims (In a Video entitled NT Wright is NT Wrong) that NT Wright does not offer a positive vision of the New Testament but just acts in the negative denying already accepted opinion on the books. This is false on the face of it. I have just been acquainted with Wright in the past 8 months and really only watched his presentations in the last 2 months. But he offers the very thing that occupies my mission statement and which I hope my work can advance. In the fourfold effect of Christian Metaphysic Wright offers to us: 1. Cruciform Theocracy; 2. Heaven to Earth Restoration of Spacetime Order; 3. Unification of Kingdom with Cross;  and, 4. Anticipation of Resurrection (with Jesus’ victory over death). This is the complete endowment of Christian belief and so how can MacArthur say that Wright offers only negative vision. Further Wright gives us a wholly new Eschatological picture where he proves that the New Testament at least speaks very little of the Dantean novelist division of the realms of Heaven and Hell. And this is a very crucial point for organized Faith churches, Jesus does not intend to send people burning for eternity in lakes of fire. A small but I think important detail (note the sarcasm).
