The Power of Living Faith — It is Mightier than Gothic Architecture, Man’s Kingdom, or State Houses of a Republic
What is the Gift of the Lord that Never Passes, the One we may posses? And which invigorates life Eternal and is worthy a Crescendo into itself which will never resolve in a fleeting manner...
I am myself taken in by the Splendour and Might that is the modern University with its architecture. The University where I attended beginning 10 years ago has a beautiful campus that exceeds all imagination in its Splendour, the Might it Exudes, and the Glory it exceeds for the cause of ‘Universal’ Knowledge.
I in myself am weak and severely limited in my abilities. One could say that the University was established for Men like Me; Men of Letters and of the Articulation of written and spoken language. While this may be a comforting thought, the University bustles on with or without individual participation and with or without me as a person.
Often times, It can seem as though the World could do without you. That University will Stand and Stand Tall and Resplendent for generations to come. The World will outgrow and outpace you, and it will be Glorious minus your presence.
This is what things can seem like in your state of depression and isolation. And maybe your life is like just a piece of music, with a crescendo and a resolution - never to be imparted or played again.
I must say now that this is not all God has in store for us. The Greatest Day of you life may pass, the greatest party, or best accomplishment of a life time. And yet it passes and is finished.
What is the Gift of the Lord that Never Passes, the One we may posses? And which invigorates life Eternal and is worthy a Crescendo into itself which will never resolve in a fleeting manner…
That is the Living Faith of God in You.
